Nader Moayeri's Bio

Dr. Nader Moayeri has been the Manager of the Wireless Communication Technologies Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) since 1997. The Group has been engaged in wireless R&D with an emphasis on public safety communications since 2002. Specifically, the Group has focused on mobile data/voice/video communications, wireless sensor networks, and indoor personnel location and tracking.

Dr. Moayeri was with the Imaging Technology Department at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Palo Alto, CA, from 1994 to 1997 and on the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, from 1986 to 1994. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering-Systems from the University of Michigan in 1986.
